Common questions about registraion:

  • Can I pay using cash or check?

    • Yes

    • Project SOAR can provide a paper registration for you to fill out. For more info contact our office.

  • Can I just show up to a Project SOAR class I want to attend?

    • No

    • All Project SOAR activities require a pre registration before you attend.

  • Does Project SOAR give scholarships?

    • Project SOAR has limited financial assistance available. Depending on donations.

    • There is an application to fill out to get approved. To learn more contact our office.

  • Can I get a refund if I miss my class?

    • No

    • For most SOAR activities we require a minimum of a week notice before the class for a full refund.

    • Activities that require tickets will note a no refund/cancellation date in the description

  • Do I need to pay for my support Staff

    • Support staff may attend activities with you at no cost (unless a fee is noted

      in the registration.)

      • Fees are required only at activities that we are paying per person for tickets or such.

      • For activities that include a support staff food option, support staff may choose if they want to purchase this at the time of registration.

  • Does Project SOAR provide Support Staff for participants?

    • Our program does not provide one-to-one support .

    • If you require support for personal care needs, behavior management and/or fine or gross motor skills, please bring a support staff to

      aid in your success in the class.

    • We know respite and working on independent skills away from home or family is a goal for many. When possible we encourage individuals to attend solo.

    • If needs interrupt the teacher's ability to run a class, we will ask that a support staff attends with you.

      • Support staff may attend activities with you at no cost (unless a fee is noted

      in the registration.)

      • For activities that include food, support staff may choose to purchase this

      at the time of registration.
